What Is the Group of Death?
The “Group of Death” refers to the World Cup group in which the level of the teams involved makes it extremely difficult to predict who will advance.
For example:
- At Russia 2018, Group F featured Germany, Mexico, Sweden, and South Korea.
- At Qatar 2022, Group E included Spain, Costa Rica, Germany, and Japan.
