Live! United Arab Emirates v Kuwait in the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 on beIN SPORTS
With both teams collecting just one point from their opening two fixtures, nothing less than victory in Doha will suffice if either the United Arab Emirates or Kuwait are to keep their quarter-final hopes alive. Even then, qualification may be out of their hands should Egypt defeat already-qualified Jordan in the other Group C encounter. Regardless of the permutations, the immediate focus will be on delivering a result at Stadium 974.
Players to Watch
Although he did not start against Jordan, Yousef Nasser made a decisive impact after coming off the bench. His well-taken header shifted the momentum of the match, and he came close to finding an equaliser, consistently causing problems for the Jordanian back line with his movement and presence in the box.
For the UAE, winger Yahya Al Ghassani may not have registered a goal or assist against Egypt, but his disciplined performance on the right flank was crucial. He repeatedly supported Alaaeldin Zuhair in containing the threat of Islam Issa, committing few errors in possession. That solid display sets the stage for a more attacking role as the Emirates look to push forward against Kuwait.
